Organizing the kids’ room

The news

Kids have been back to school for a while now, and your little ones aren’t so little anymore.
They’re not “babies” anymore!

New class, new friends, new teachers… it’s all a little much for our kiddos.
The new school year means everyone has to be super organized, with all of the homework, tests… To help your little ones keep their head up during the school year, you can offer to organize and decorate their “big kid rooms” together!

To begin with, whether they’re in primary or secondary school, they will have a bucketload of notebooks, textbooks, an agenda and all kinds of school supplies, such as pencils, markers, geometry supplies… Nothing new, really. You’ve probably shed a tear at the sight of the supplies list this summer and cried for help in the crowded supermarket.

Whether your kids can leave some belongings at school or not, it’s preferable to label each and every supply to avoid exchanging anything or losing a few bits and bobs at school (or around the house!).

There’s no better solution than the school supply labels! With their different shapes and sizes, they’ll be perfect to mark every belonging. And with our Multipackyou can also create ten different labels with different text and colour, to mark the notebooks by subject, for example. Your little ones won’t forget which notebook from the many ones they have is the one for Maths or English…

And to organize everything at home, why not label each shelf of storage?

It’s also important to have a dedicated space to work: a “big kid desk” needs to contain a few things. The first one being… a cool pen holder! We offer qui a few ones with cool themes, such as superheroes, unicorns, animals, robots… which are super simple to make yourself!

To avoid forgetting anything, we often resort to using post-its, but these cheeky ones often peel off the wall and fly away to be abandoned in the most unattainable places before drifting in oblivion. With a cork board and a few pins, you can quickly create a nice cactus photo montage frame. Isn’t it better and prettier?
But the little pins can scatter away, just like paper clips and other little things that everyone has on their desk. Therefore, in just a few steps, you can make these graphic origami boxes!

What about loose sheets? We always have a couple and never know where to put them. No worries, just keep a few cereal boxes from your kiddos’ breakfast to create a paper tray!

Now that the kids’ desk is perfectly set up to help them find everything they need, why not add a couple of decorative elements? Like an origami garland or animal paper trophies, which are so easy to make together and will add a sweet and original touch to their workspace.

Your little ones are ready to grow up! And we kind of want to go back to that time too, no? ?
