A flying spaceship DIY to do with your little astronauts to spend one afternoon with the head in the stars 

 

Flying Spaceship DIY

For this DIY, you will need:

  • our free template (download below)
  • straws
  • wooden chopsticks
  • adhesive tape
  • a pair of scissors
  • and…glue!

What you will need for this DIY

Step 1: Download, print and cut out the first page of the template.

Step 2: Cut out the second page of the template.

Step 3: Using the adhesive tape, stick the chopsticks on the back of the cut-outs.

Step 4: Apply glue to the back if the cut-outs, along the edges.

Step 5: Glue together the twin cut-out; press until the glue keeps the two parts together.

Step 6: Cut approximately 2.5 cm from the straw extremity.

Step 7: Insert the chopstick within straw.

Step 8: Repeat the steps to create as many spaceships as you like. Blow into the straw to make your ship fly as far as it can ?!
