We’ve created an amazing spaceship with a leftover kitchen towel roll,

so that your kiddos can shoot to the stars… Prepare for take-off in 3,2,1…

For this DIY, you will need:

  • our free template that you can download below
  • an empty cereal box
  • a kitchen paper roll
  • a pair of scissors
  • a paint brush
  • white poster paint
  • a black marker
  • glue
  • and… scotch tape

Step 1: print and prepare your template by adapting its size to your kitchen towel roll.

Step 2: cut out the fuselage and tail in the cereal box.

Step 3: paint the fuselage, tail and roll with some white paint on both sides.

Step 4: with the black marker, draw the outlines and details on the spaceship.

Step 5: assemble different parts of the spaceship, like on the pictures.

Step 6: to insert the tail into the roll, cut out a slit at the back, using a cutter or scissors.

Step 7: add some glue to the different parts of the spaceship.

Step 8: and you're done! The spaceship is ready to explore the outer space!
