Today, we are making a wild animal for the fans of tropical forests and jungle.
All you need is a plastic bottle and a wine cork – let’s get started!
Essentials
For this DIY, you will need:
an empty bottle of milk
red and orange
white spray paint
black and green markers
50 cm pretty thread
a wine cork
a box cutter
scissors
and… strong glue!
Steps
1
Step 1: first of all, draw the head of a crocodile with a green marker on the empty bottle of milk. Don't forget to draw the eyes, the teeth and the nostrils.
2
Step 2: then, cut out the head with the box cutter.
3
Step 3: after, use a black marker to draw the nostrils and the teeth as seen in the picture.
4
Step 4: on the red paper, draw a tongue, in length of the crocodile's head, and glue it inside.
5
Step 5: use white spray paint to paint the cap of the bottle.
6
Step 6: once dry, make a hole with the box cutter in the middle of the cap. Put the thread through and make a knot inside the cap to attach it.
7
Step 7: cover a strip of the red paper and roll it around the cork.
8
Step 8: draw 2 circles on the orange paper around the cork. Cut them out and glue them on the ends of the cork.
9
Step 9: make and glue a tail and the head as in the picture.
10
Step 10: finally, attach the fish to the other end of the thread.
And voilà! Here’s your pretty croco-cup and ball game, ready to keep your kids busy this afternoon 🙂
