These lovely bracelet and necklace made out of wooden beads

will add a little graphic feel to any outfit.

This easy DIY will be easy and fun for the kids!

For this DIY, you will need:

  • our free template that you can download below
  • big and small wooden beads
  • elastic thread
  • pink, white and gold spray paint
  • scissors
  • a black paint marker
  • some masking tape
  • pink embroidery thread
  • and… skewer sticks

Step 1: download and print out the template. Put the beads on skewers, place them on the edges of a cardboard box and spray-paint them white. Leave to dry for a few hours.

Step 2: cover up half the beads with masking tape and spray-paint them gold. Leave to dry for a few hours.

Step 3: once the white beads are dry, cover up the half the beads with masking tape and spray-paint. Leave to dry for a few hours.

Step 4: for beads with patterns, use a black felt pen to draw short lines.

Step 5: your beads are good to go on the thread.

Step 6: to make a pompom, cut a rectangle piece of cardboard of the size of the pompom.

Step 7: wrap pink embroidery thread on the cardboard without over-tightening.

Step 8: pass another thread at the top of the tassel between the cardboard and the rolled thread.

Step 9: make a double knot at the top of the tassel.

Step 10: remove the cardboard.

Step 11: form the top of the tassel by rolling over another thread. Trim the ends.

Step 12: cut the pompom and even up the edges.
