For this DIY, you will need:
- our free templates that you can download below
- a tin
- coloured paper sheets : a glittery brown one, a dark brown one, and kraft paper
- a foam paper sheet
- tracing paper
- twine
- strong glue
- cardboard
- buttons
- a cutter
- and… scissors
Steps

Step 1: trace all of the monkey's parts from the template.2
Step 2: start by transposing the monkey's head on the kraft paper. 3
Step 3: then, do the same with all of the parts by referring to the templates for the colours. Cut them all out. 4
Step 4: take the monkey's cardboard tail. Put a dot of glue at the end to fasten the twine and wrap it all over.5
Step 5: finish with a dot of glue and cut the excess twine.6
Step 6: glue the monkey's face and belly on the paper that will cover the tin.7
Step 7: add the eyes and nose.8
Step 8: fold the ears to create flaps.9
Step 9: glue the inner parts of the ears by applying the base on the line created by the fold.10
Step 10: add somme glue on the tin and wrap the paper around.11
Step 11: then, fasten it with dots of glue.12
Step 12: add the ears by glueing the flaps.13
Step 13: then, add the tail by using superglue.14
Step 14: outline the big legs on the dark brown paper and foam paper, and outline the small legs on kraft paper.15
Step 15: glue each big dark brown legs onto the similar foam paper leg.16
Step 16: glue the little kraft paper legs on top.17
Step 17: glue the legs underneath the tin. Say hi to your new Monkey pen holder!18
Step 18: follow the same steps to create a bunny and a unicorn!
