Summer holidays are just around the corner

and with the pebbles that your kids have picked up,

you can make this cute pebble cactus.

DIY Pebble Cactus

For this DIY, you will need:

  • 6 white pebbles of various shapes and sizes
  • white gravel
  • a flower pot
  • blue, yellow and white poster paint
  • one or several paintbrushes
  • a plastic cup
  • and…a white paint marker (Posca marker, for example)

Step 1: start by painting one side of the pebble.

Step 2: repeat the previous step on the 5 remaining pebbles. Wait 5 minutes for the paint to dry.

Step 3: in the meantime, fill your flower pot with white gravel. When the paint is completely dry, paint the other side of your pebbles. Then, wait 5min until completely dry.

Step 4: with the paint marker, decorate your pebble with a pretty pattern.

Step 5: create different patterns for the other pebbles and check that the marker has dried before touching them.

Step 6: finally, place the pebbles in the flower pot. You've just made a beautiful cactus and a great decoration for your child's bedroom...or any other room!
