For this DIY, you will need:

  • our free gingerbread house template that you can download below
  • some string or ribbon
  • scissors
  • a cutter
  • and… surprises (chocolate, candy, etc.)

Step 1: download and print the templates.

Step 2: cut out the shape of the house (beware of the flaps).

Step 3: fold along the guidelines.

Step 4: using a cutter, punch a little hole on the house's roof.

Step 5: cut a piece of ribbon (about 20cm), then insert it in the hole.

Step 6: tie a knot on the inside to fasten it.

Step 7: repeat this step on the outside by making a loop.

Step 8: add some glue on all flaps except those on the roof part.

Step 9: put your house together starting by the bottom.
